NOTE: It is difficult to specify an exact time interval for replacing the filter since individual use of the unit will vary. If you hold the filter cartridge (the filter mounted in the removable rear grill) up to the light and there is visible blockage replace it. If it feels sticky or tacky, replace it. The filters are not reusable. Don't try to extend their use life by washing, vacuuming or shaking them.
